Meet One Of The Faces Behind Your Castle Home Inspections Inc.
I’m Seth Martin, and along with my family, are the proud owners of Your Castle Home Inspections Inc.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
My father, Douglas Martins, began his career in the Building and Construction industry 50 years ago. During those years, he was able to gain substantial experience in the different phases that go into building houses, from the Pre-construction to the final walk-through. Aside from building houses, Doug had also become a Modular Home dealer and gained vast experience in setting modular homes.
When we moved to Florida as a family, we quickly realized there was a large majority of people that would fall in love with a house, and while filled with excitement, would rush into the purchase without recognizing safety concerns or defects. It soon became obvious that the typical buyer didn’t have the basic knowledge to recognize faults.
This inspired us to qualify as home inspectors so that we could check systems and components thoroughly. We endeavored to make home seekers aware of an adverse situation before they finalize their purchase.
Since setting up the company, I’ve noticed that the home inspection industry is rapidly evolving. With today being different than it was twelve months ago, and a year ago being different than it was five years ago, we are continuously moving in a forward direction to advance our training.
Consequently, we work hard for our clients, and I believe what sets us apart is our honesty. We are a Christian family, so the business is run on ethical morals, and clients get treated the way God teaches us to serve.
Besides, the business’s success isn’t determined by measuring finances but rather on clients’ positive experiences. Therefore, it’s humbling when a home buyer places their trust in our inspectors to conduct an inspection that could significantly affect their purchase decision.
It’s also rewarding to know that one of our inspectors spotted a safety hazard in the house and brought it to the buyer’s/seller’s attention which has potentially prevented a family from getting harmed.
When I’m not overseeing home inspections, I raise Suri Alpacas in Illinois. Once a year, the alpacas are shorn (get a haircut) and we make items from their Fiber (fur) or send it off to special Mills that turn the Fiber into all sorts of garments. These products are then sold in our online store, SunnyCreekAlpacas.com.
I’ve enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
If you or someone you know could benefit from our expertise as home inspectors in Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater, FL, I invite you to get in touch.
